The Foundation, a non-profit organization, is a group of lettuce growers. It conducts research in genetic improvement, supported by marketing new varieties of lettuce and through public and private funders. It is headed by a board of directors composed of five member producers.
A tall, upright, medium to dark green Romaine-type lettuce with blistered leaves. It produces dense heads with excellent internal quality. Its V-shaped configuration, low midrib prominence and tight internodes make it a good choice for Romaine hearts. Also good for the fresh and processing market. Tolerant to tip burn and bolting and suitable for July and September harvest.

Une variété de laitue type romaine de haute taille, dressée, de couleur vert moyen à vert foncé avec des feuilles très cloquées. Elle produit des pommes denses avec une excellente qualité interne. Sa configuration en V, sa faible proéminence de la nervure centrale et ses entre-noeuds serrés en font un bon choix pour la production de cœur de romaine. Aussi, bonne pour le marché de la boite et de la transformation. Tolérante à la brûlure de la pointe et à la montaison et convient pour les récoltes de juillet et septembre.
